On the second hour of the very first day of 2004, the life of a father of three, a beloved husband and a dear friend has ended at an incident that happened in East Coast Road Singapore.
Grief bestowed to all of his immediate friends in Singapore upon learning of his untimely demise. It took place while he was with his officemates; thus, no one among his Filipino friends could positively confirm that it was him. None of Tony's friends really believed the news at first . Despite all the griefs and worries, his friends made all efforts to be definite about the said news... with all hopes that it would be otherwise.
However, in the afternoon of the same day, the CID handling his case showed Tony's identification card to his sister-in-law, Let, while his body is still being autopsied. On the 2nd of January 2004, Let and all of his friends who were present at the mortuary had finally seen Tony's lifeless body for the first time.
He had been working in Singapore since 1991 and was planning to finally go back to his family in Philippines by June of 2004. During his life is Singapore, he kept a circle of close friends while creating more everywhere he goes. His death is indeed a great loss for those whose lives were touched by him.
On behalf his family and friends, we take this opportunity to thank those who helped in ensuring that Tony's remains are taken cared of and sent to his family in the Philippines. We also thank all the people who came to his wake to offer their prayers and pay their last respects. Please continue to include Tony in your prayers.
