HAPPY MONEY

One of the questions I am frequently asked is, "Does money make you happy?" Truthfully, I have always thought that this question was a strange question because it has no definitive answer. Asking if money makes a person happy is the same as asking if marriage makes a person happy. The answer lies not in money or marriage but in the person.

Being that this is the holiday season and we all should be happy, I thought it appropriate I answer the question, "Does money make you happy?"

THREE REASONS To Be Happy About Money

Personally, money has always made me happy. Having been completely without money several times in my life, I am very certain that I am happier with money. Yet there are certain reasons why I am happy with money. So as my holiday gift to you, I thought I would share three reasons why I am personally happy about my money. They are:

1. I am happy about how I make my money. Many people work at jobs they do not like or do things they should not do to earn their money. If you make a lot of money and earning it violates your spirit, then it would be hard to be happy, regardless of how much money you earn.

The lesson is, if you want to be happy about money, be happy about how you earn your money.

2. I am cautious about how I spend my money. Many people spend everything they earn having a good time....but often the good time is short lived. If you spend your money wisely you will feel better about yourself, in the long run.

The lesson is, if you want to be happy about your money, treat your money with respect and spend it wisely.

3. I spend a lot of time learning to invest my money wisely. Many people today, feel badly because they invested their money in the stock market and lost it. No one feels good when they lose money.

The lesson is, if you invest wisely, you will feel good because you will never have to work for money again.

A HAPPY HOLIDAY WISH

So, does money make me happy? Yes. The primary reason money makes me happy is because I no longer have to work for money....money works for me. We at the Rich Dad Company have the same wish for you. We want you to have happy money working for you, so you can enjoy more of this holiday season.
