黄 河 艺 术 团 黄河艺术团成立于一九九四年五月。她是由一些来自中国的专业艺术家和业余音乐爱好者组成。本着对音乐艺术的爱好与执著和为社区奉献的理念，艺术团的团员为推广、传播中华文化艺术，为融入美国主流多元文化作出了积极的努力。自成立以来，黄河艺术团积极参与社区活动和对外演出，其中包括历年的亚太传统月和海华文艺季的演出、为老人社的义演、中秋音乐会和国庆音乐会、摩门教圣殿灯饰节庆音乐演唱会及抗战胜利五十周年纪念音乐会等。为丰富广大侨胞的文化生活，黄河艺术团还特别组织或主办过一些大型文艺演出，如独唱独奏音乐会、历年的新春联欢晚会、京剧艺术专场、九七年庆祝香港回归大型专场演出、九八年为国内特大水灾募捐的赈灾义演、九九年为庆祝中华人民共和国成立五十周年大型文艺晚会和黄河大合唱、以及二OO一年为“9.11”遇难者家属募款义演等。严谨的艺术风格和丰富的艺术表现形式，已使黄河艺术团成为在美国广受欢迎的华人文化团体之一。 The Yellow River
Art Ensemble The Yellow River Art Ensemble (YRAE) was founded in May 1994 and consists of many professional and amateur artists from Mainland China. Its purpose is to promote Chinese folk music and artistic heritage in the American Chinese communities and to contribute to the mainstream multi-faceted American culture. Over the past few years, with a group of over fifty members, the ensemble has successfully organized numerous concerts and performances. Apart from the annual Spring Festival celebrations, it has contributed to concerts in celebration of the return of Hong Kong to China and given disaster-relief benefit performances. These activities not only enrich the cultural life of the Chinese community in the Washington area, but also serve as a bridge of friendship and understanding between the United States and China.
