Established in 1997, Km. Chhavi Gupta Foundation is a public charitable trust evolved with a purpose to contribute towards the welfare of the society through various social, religious and educational activities.
Km. Chhavi Gupta Foundation has been formed in the memory of Km. Chhavi Gupta, an MBBS student, who through her charismatic personality lit infinite hearts and brought smiles on all faces. Carrying with her the torch of humanity, she had the concept of peace and mutual tolerance deeply imbibed in her heart.
The annual activity of the Foundation – the Medical Camp on December 3 – has been organised for the last Four years in the nearby villages where the local villagers and school students have been treated for various ailments such as cataract, skin diseases etc. free of cost. Economic assistance has been provided to the school students in these villages in the form of uniforms, stationery items, textbooks etc.
On the educational front, the Foundation has very successfully been organising the Inter-School Young Buds Mathematics Olympiad in the public schools of Meerut for the last Five years and the deserving talented students have been suitably rewarded. The Olympiad has constantly been securing an overwhelming participation of around 1000 students every year from the top schools of Meerut.
Emancipation of the places of religious worship is also one of the activities associated with the Foundation and work has been initiated from the temples. ‘Kanwar Sewa Camps’ have been organised in this regard and the Foundation plans to extend its area of operation to other religious establishments and occasions as well.
For the benefit of our well wishers, the Foundation has also been registered under Section 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961.
