Stuff We Shouldn't Ignore
Sometimes I have to make sure everyone knows something that really has me upset. This is one such moment.
The following is the LJ of a transwoman in Spokane -

She is in jail right, as you will read there, because the system insists that she pay child support. Which she would do, if she could get a job. But the system has ordered her to wear mens clothing, even tho she is a pre-op. This is wrong. She was in school and trying to find work, when she was sent to jail, for non-payment.
Even though most of us live on this side of the state, some of the members here live in Spokane and we should speak out and try to get this featured everywhere to show the injustice of the court system in Spokane County.
Even if you don't care, you should know, that our rights are being chipped away slowly and surely, and that you need to make sure they don't take away our right to not reproduce, have sex, or even masturbate legally. Because the religous people are working their damnedest to take our sexual rights away.
