I've been focusing on the "Kids Page" more than I have any other page. I want my children to have access to several good web sites I have found. I will eventually change the whole look of the page, but at this present time, I don't have the time to do it.
Since I started working at the daycare, here in my community, I have searched more for ANYTHING!! associated with childcare and daycare centres. There are many sites that have a page or two dedicated to children's crafts, games, and other interesting things. Example: "Kids Crafts & Activities" is actually part of a site called "ChristianOneStop.com."
NOTE: Although, I have no religious affiliations or beliefs, AND I will NOT promote anything religious on this site. I do, however, believe that children should learn about religion and to allow them to decide if it is for them.
Anyway... that said. Life is good.... well LOL as good as it gets (ask me next month! LOL) and my lil site is becoming more than I thought it would.
Our lil chat group in The Sauna:1 has disbanded. Most of us meet up in other rooms and keep in touch in other ways. It will never be the same as it was and I am saddened by that. But that is life! and friends do move on. So my "Memories" page will turn into a collection of memories of more than just friends who have left us in this life.... LOL as always this is a thought, which will take time for me to actually complete.
Best thing I read today LOL.... from the "mytelus.com" news.....article "Rock star Bono wows Liberal convention, lauds Canada".......[Bono] joked Canada could take over the world without an army, and lay claim to historic sites like the Kremlin and Buckingham Palace just by saying, "Please."
Not much new to report this week. I've added more links to the "links" page and I'm still sorting out the ones I want to put on there. As well, I'm trying to figure the page set up that I want.
I've completely redone the "kids page". Since my children are much older now, I have more links that will appeal to them. I have also set up a seperate list for Canadian web sites for kids. Little maple leafs will also signify other Canadian sites through out my web site. The dinosaurs are specifically for my daughter, who is completely infatuated with them.
Due to an injury, I'm not working for a short time, so I will have more time to work on this site. It still will be slow... LOL since life does take precedence over a web site. I am hoping that I can explore new ways of making this site interesting to more than just my friends and family. But, hey, such is life.
Now that I'm working full time, I don't have very much time to update my site. I have added new buttons to the main page. I will be revising them to allow for new pages I've been making. The Sauna:1 page will eventually go under the title of Yahoo Stuff; but, as with everything else, it will take time and it may change LOL.
With the recent loss of a dear friend, Ronnie, on Sept 1, 2003; I created a page dedicated to her. Also in tribute to her memory is the page created by Ladievader: www.geocities.com/tributetorhonda. On Saturday, October 4, 2003 the memorial for Ronnie_n _Roses was held in Hinton, Alberta. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day. A good day to remember, a good day to cry, a good day to laugh at times gone by. I miss you Ronnie!
The button "Remember" on the main page will be the title of a section dedicated to friends and family I have lost. For better and for worse, they will live on in my memories.
New Pages!! This note page is one of them, I didn't want all my notes to be the focus of the main page. I really wanted a blog, but I don't think Yahoo has them; so this will do. I added a Hello Kitty page for my daughter. Other than putting it up, we haven't done anything to it yet. I've added a yahoo emotes page. This will have emotes I have found and ones that I have made. I made this page after people asked me to give them my cigarette emote. Unfortunately, I had a hard time pasting it into the room..... LOL... damn thing wouldn't give the code just the pic.... LOL
I made this site just to see if I could. I found it very easy with the pagebuilder provided by Geocities. I wanted to know more! I started searching online for different buttons, icons, templates, etc. that I could add to this site. Talk about hitting the jackpot. You can find any style you want. The unfortunate thing, for me anyways, is that most of the things i found cost money. Which is good for the person who created the templates, buttons, etc, etc.
There are a great many sites that offer these products for free. They don't always have what you are looking for. As in my case, I was looking for templates that didn't have the basic business design.
This led me on a completely different search. How to make my own. he he he. This is my endeavour, to teach myself how to create my own buttons, icons, templates, ect, etc.

Current plans are still a little hazy. This will be a family site as far as I can tell right now. My children are very interested in how to create web sites. The Garfield n Dragon pic is my daughter's fav pic on this page. lol go fig lol.
I plan on setting up a link page. Mainly based on my interests.......lol of course, this is my site. :P These will include: anything about making web sites, children learning and literacy, fun stuff that makes ya go "waaaaat???" ( just to add a little of my insanity), fantasy sites, art, and wat ever else.
Well..... this appears to have a direction so off I go into the great www!
