| Travel Gavel Dates Set Set your schedules! Jan. 8th Fonda Jan 19th Pocahontas (note: moved from Nov. 17) Feb. 10th Sac City Mar. 22nd Laurens Let's make a good representation at our neighboring councils meetings and good food. DUES FREE MEAL Don Feltner, our worthy financial secretary, will be accepting dues payment at our December meeting. If you pay cash, you will get a free meal In Januaryl DECEMBER: Columbus Club & 3rd Degree officers meeting will be held jointly December 15th. We will grill out, so bring your meat. Sides will be provided. All members are invited by RSVP. This Is a great opportunity to find out what to do. We will be needing 3 new Columbus Club members and 1 Deputy Grand Knight. MEMBERSHIP DRIVE: JAN,FEB,MARCH, 2004 We have several Catholic men that are just wafting to be Knights. Most of these gentlemen have not been asked! Invite them to a member meeting to introduce them to our group. We must get 10 new members In the 2003/2004 calendar year. I will pay for their meal. SUCCESS!! Charity is one of our mottos. 1. A very successful trip was taken by our youth to the CAYC Charities I Arkansas. We made a donation of $100.00 to help facilitate this trip. 2. Donation of $100.00 was made to a needy child with spinal bifida to get a physical therapy tricycle. 3. Sponsor a family for Christmas will be done in the month of December. 4. Another great distribution of Labor Day funds was done in November to Faith, Hope and Charity, Genesis Development, The Special Olympics Fund, Special Education. Each recipient received $1205.00. These are all just a part of the service that we provide. Everybody should get a pat on the backl Words from your Grand Knight: Stand up and be one of our leaders. We need a Deputy Grand Knight and 3 new Columbus Club members. We have the best Councils in lowal It cannot be run without members like you.
