These are photo soaps made using melt and pour glycerine soap. I just started making them after seeing it done on a craft show (HGTV). I tried doing it the way the directions stated, but, my soap seemed to come apart. So I tried several ways. I bought the transparency and laminate, all that worked fine, just remember not to touch the printed page or it will smear. Carefully laminate the inked side, tryin to keep from getting any bubbles.
I did a transparent background around the pictures in my photo editing program, resized the pictures so they would fit in my soap molds, printed them, lamintaed them..and trimmed around them. I then melted my glycerine soap, misted my mold with rubbing alcohol, poured the glycerine in the mold to desired thickness, and placed the transparent photo in the soap. If there are bubbles on top, just mist them away with the rubbing alcohol. Resist the urge to move the soap as it hardens, as this will mess it up. Let it harded for at least 30 min. After you unmold your soap, fingerprints can be removed by misting it with the alcohol, let dry, then wrap in plastic wrap. Good Luck if you try this and let me know how it turns out.
