GENERAL INFORMATION:
In order to establish
and maintain communication links between home and school, our class
continues to use a successful system with the “OTIS”. The acronym “OTIS”
stands for “Organize This Important Stuff.” OTIS is a 2-inch, 3-ringed
binder with labeled tabs. Each section serves a distinct purpose. The
following categories explain the contents of the OTIS.

homework. It is also intended for use as a communication link between
teacher and parent. The planner is
checked each morning for any messages about homework, as well as a
signature from a parent or guardian indicating that homework was completed.

Any work that a student
needs to correct or complete will be placed behind this tab. These papers
