We had no idea where we wanted to get married. All we knew was that we wanted it to be fun. We thought about getting married down at the shore, we thought about going to the islands, we thought about just having it at K.C.'s parents house, we even considered a train caboose, but nothing seemed right. Finally after several suggestions by Mike just to elope, we finally decided on LAS VEGAS! Mike kept saying, "Let's just go to Vegas", so we did- but we invited the family.
We love Las Vegas, we try to go every year and it's probably our most favorite place on earth. Las Vegas is an excellent place to get married- it's cheap, fun and they didn't even check our ID when we got our marriage license! We just filled out a little form with our names, social security numbers and gave the lady fifty bucks and it was a done deal! Well, the license part at least. We got married at the Tropicana Island Wedding Chapel outside in the garden. It was so beautiful and even in January it was about 60 degrees! (But this isn't typical- there was a "heat wave") K.C. and Mike seem to have Murphy's Law Syndrome- from the engagement, to the hotel arrangements, to the day of the wedding, and even into the Honeymoon, something always goes wrong. The best part about our wedding day was that our photographer did not have film in the camera, so all of our wedding pictures are "posed"....Ahhh Memories....
