Where To Stuff Your Face

Las Vegas has many, many choices for gut bustin', buffet-style eating. Among the most popular are the Rio Carnival World Buffet, the Mirage Buffet, the Paris Le Village Buffet, and the Excalibur Knights of the Round Table Buffet. Many people enjoy the vast selection of the Rio's buffet and it is generally viewed as the best buffet in Las Vegas. Well as the great Hulk Hogan once said, "Lemme tell you sumthin' brother!" Our choice for the best buffet in Vegas is none of the above.

Our favorite buffet BY FAR has to be the Bellagio buffet. Now I know what you're thinking, yeah, the Bellagio is one of the priciest joints on the strip, of course the food's gotta be good, but who can afford it? Well believe it or not Ripley, it only costs around $25 per person. Sure, that may be more than some of the others, but not by much. 5 or 10 dollars tops. You know, the next time your tempted to take a cab from the MGM Grand to Caesars, just walk...you'll get some exercise and save that extra dough for the Bellagio.

Here's why it's better. It comes down to a quality over quantity thing. First off it's clean, there hasn't been a thousand sweaty behinds stankin' up the place all day and the lines are relatively short. I think people are a bit afraid to go there. Also the food is much better. It is true you can get a billion different types of food at the Rio, but you can't eat anything different. Rio has cheese pizza, hot dogs, and tons of buffalo wings whereas the Bellagio has buffalo, like the real buffalo, the kind that goes Moo, or whatever sound buffaloes make, personalized sized brick oven pizzas, and cornish game hens...see the difference? It's your vacation, might as well live it up. You can grab your Oscar Mayer anywhere.

Finally, the best (and K.C.'s favorite part) is the dessert. The Bellagio has all the standards that the others have, like soft serve ice cream, assorted cakes & pies, and the big tub o' pudding (if you are so brave). However they also step it up by featuring fruit tartlets, the ones with the boston cream filling with strawberries & kiwi on top and a chocolate shell. May I dare say K.C. is psycho when it comes to these desserts. "The Best in the World." Well I wouldn't go that far, but definitely the best in Vegas.
