Scene One
Xavier Micheals
Armani Styles?! Armani Fucking
Rapist Styles?! How the hell does that pervert get a title shot before
me?!
Xavier begins pacing back and forth in his and Shane's locker room. Morgan sits up from the couch she was sitting on and leans on him from behind, trying to calm him down with little effect.
Morgan
Baby,
calm down, it won't be too long before you get recognized.
A slight twitch breaks over his right eye, appearing more out of anger then nervousness.
Xavier Micheals
I
am calm, but he gets a title shot because he tried to kill Soren? Hell if
that all it would of taken, I would've done it a long time ago.
Morgan
When
you win this match, they can't ignore you anymore. Since you broke away
from all that teen idol shit, they really have they eye on you know, they want
more.
Xavier turns around to face her, breathing heavily, teeth clenched and the twitch with the eye growing more rapid. It that what they want, for me to be even more extreme then I am now?
Xavier Micheals
More?
They want more? I'll give them more, all of them, and in doing so, I will
tear apart anyone else that gets in my way. And I know just who I'm going
to start with?
Morgan
Maybe
you just need to let off some steam, I can go out and get some...
Xavier shakes his head cutting her off. No drugs, not now and not as must anymore. Enough of this fiend shit.
Xavier Micheals
I
need to lay off of it and focus on what's going on now.
Morgan
You
do have this match, and you and Emerald are the tag champs so I know it's not
her. You do have a... interesting history with Thrilla.
Xavier Micheals
Em's
like a second sister to me, I can't even think about doing that to her.
And Dean? The losing streak he's been on, he's nothing more then a joke
now. I was the heart of the team when he was my partner and he knows it.
Morgan
Then
who?
A large smile comes across Xavier's face with a sadistic look. Malicious thoughts brewing and stirring behind those eyes.
Xavier Micheals
Someone
that really needs to shut his mouth and know his place.
The scene fades out as Xavier quietly laughs to himself.
Scene Two
Finally, the trip from the airport to the house was finished. The ride had been one of an icy silence between Shane and Morgan. It was obvious that Shane had a physical attraction for her, not completely burying that part of her lesbianism. But socially, Morgan was nothing more then a drug peddling whore. This was blatantly true given how eager Morgan was to shove her tongue down my throat and wrap her lips around my cock. She did know how to please a man though, her sexual infidelity has trained her well over time.
I really didn't want to be here. True, this is my house, but that bitch also stayed here. I didn't need anything to bring up memories that would try to make me feel sorry for her or any feelings remotely close to love. Her stubbornness to accept me for the man I truly am turned me away from her, her failure to carry a pregnancy was simply the trigger. There was a time that, yes, I did love her. At least I thought I had, but I loved something that was an illusion, a mirage. I loved her public face, the Riley that everyone saw every week. It's what drew me to her, and snared me in its trap, crippling me to resist and escape from her grasp. The Venus Fly Trap of love, that's exactly what she is, was and always will.
Whatever happened with Riley is the past, nothing can be changed or altered with that. I'm more interested in the future, one of significance, of power. I had to put this other life behind me. Start over.
Xavier Micheals
Wait
here... both of you.
Shane already had her hand on the handle, Morgan in the backseat reaching for the door, as they both give him a confused look.
Shane Sanders
You sure, Xavier?
Don't want to take a chance on the bitch still being here, pull some psycho shit
on you.
Xavier Micheals
She's gone, I know.
Shane Sanders
Yeah, but...
She looks back at Morgan with a snarl, not liking the idea of having to sit with her any longer than she has to.
Xavier Micheals
I'll be fine.
Shane Sanders
I know you will be.
Shane leans over across the console separating them, reaching around behind his head to pull him closer. Their mouths open as their tongues engage in their ritual of dance and exchange for a moment. Shane leans back in her seat looking back with a smirk across her face and smiling to Morgan.
Xavier Micheals
You two behave now,
I'll be back.
Xavier looks at Shane giving her a wink before pushing his door open and exposes the interior to the fresh air outside. Shane looks straight ahead, not saying a word while Morgan looks from side to side out of the windows.
Morgan
Shane...
Shane Sanders
Quiet.
Morgan
Oh come off your high horse,
Shane. You liked it and you know it.
Shane Sanders
Like hell I did, you're
nothing but a common whore that'll fuck anything with a rod.
Morgan
At least I never fucked some
coffee shop owner I met only fifteen minutes ago.
Shane Sanders
You know, you're right,
you've done a lot worse then me.
Morgan just sits back and smiles to herself, she knew Shane was right about that one, but at least she wasn't ashamed of her sexual past unlike Shane. Morgan leans up over the top of the seat, her head next to Shane's
Morgan
You get all pissy whenever
someone says that he's your "boyfriend," but why you react like this,
can you really blame them.
Shane Sanders
Fuck you.
Morgan
It's not like you two are
married. We can share him, and I know he won't have a problem sharing you
with me.
Shane looks to her side to see a devilish smile on her face only inches from hers. Before she could even react to the comment, she found Morgan's lips planted on hers. The side of her that wanted to stay straight told her to fight it off, but the lesbian deep in her heart old her to not only accept the show of affection, but to enjoy it.
Scene T
hreeEverything was just the why I had left it, she even locked the door on her way out. The emptiness felt by the stale air was still the same. It was Riley air., the stench of it making me sick to my stomach. What was I thinking coming back here? Seeing that she was actually gone would make it all feel better, that I could finally get on with my life? It's only made me remember things I don't wish to, how much pain she caused me.
The living room appears to be untouched, free of any clutter, everything in its place giving a sterile feel to the area. Good, so far nothing to feel, no sense of emotion haunting me.
Looking down now, Xavier sees a sterling silver picture frame sitting on a small table next to the couch. Inside is a picture of him and Riley, in an embrace while posing for a picture for an ESW still shot.
I hate you! You cold hearted, empty bitch! You only thought about yourself, what about me? What about what I wanted?
A raspy voice echoes through Xavier's head, sending a chills down his spine. The soft quietness of it eerily sickening.
Voice
You ran away from her,
the only girl you ever loved, it frightened you and you ran.
Xavier Micheals
Shut
up, I didn't love her, how could I love someone so selfish.
Voice
You're
the one who's been selfish, running from her when she needed you most. You
thought only of yourself and what you felt as pain.
Xavier Micheals
Shut
up!!!
Xavier hurls the frame at the wall shattering the glass onto the couch. He looks around, panic stricken by what he's thinking and hearing in his own mind and heart. He reaches down underneath the glass coffee table in front of him, flipping it over and breaking it with a crash on the hardwood floor underneath.
Voice
Oohhh,
anger, that's good, I like that, but it won't change what you've done.
Xavier holds his hands over his heads, trying to block out the voice but having no success. He bends down still keeping the seal over his ears and yelling.
Xavier Micheals
God
damn it, shut up!
He runs out of the room and up the stairs to the second floor still covering his ears. Running into the bedroom, the voice only gets even more haunting, feeling as if it is tearing apart at his head. On a dresser in front of the king-sized bed, are a row of picture frames, each containing a moment of himself and Riley and the love they once had. Taking one hand from his head, he reaches over to the dresser and wipes them away in a motion sending them crashing and shattering on the ground against each other.
Voice
Nothing
but a damn coward, that's what you are, a fucking coward! You ran from her
and only fuck drugged up whores. Take a good look what you've turned your
life into, you have no one to blame but yourself.
Xavier looks around the room, looking for any sign of something that will bring relief from this torment. Is this what it's going to take to cut back a little on everything? He finally focuses on a nightstand on what used to be his side of the bed, the bottom drawer to be exact.
Voice
Yeah,
that's right, take the easy way out, piece of shit.
Xavier runs over to sit on the bed and reaches down opening the drawer. Inside is a black Smith & Wesson Model 990L, a spare box of ammunition to the side. He had bought it for protection for him and Riley, ironic that he wanted to use it for something like this now. He picks up the weapon, pulls out the clip making sure it is full, although it really does not need to be, and cocks it sending a round into the chamber. He looks down on it for a moment, then to yet another picture on the nightstand. Riley appears smiling, the feeling starting to melt away at the iron curtain he had built around him the last couple weeks.
Xavier Micheals
What
have I done?
He move the weapon up, and holding the barrel pointing upwards against his neck and under his chin. It'll be better this way, I've done too much damage as it is, at least I won't hurt anyone else, it must end here.
Voice
Typical
you, run and hide instead of facing reality. Hope you enjoy your stay in
purgatory, it's going to be a hell of a long wait there. Just go ahead and
pull the fucking trigger and end this little game.
Doubt starts to fill his mind, his hand starting to tremble.
Voice
Do
it you fucking coward, this is what you wanted when you when for it. Now
finish the job for once you lazy piece of shit!
Xavier Micheals
No.
Voice
Damn
you to hell, you never follow through on anything, that is why you'll never be
the champion nor the man you want, you never follow through.
Xavier Micheals
Leave
me the fuck alone! I am who I am.
Looking down at the picture of Riley, the hate takes the place of his indecision. I hate you! I'll see you in hell!
Voice
Coward!
Xavier Micheals
FUCK
YOU!
Outside in the car, Shane and Morgan kiss after Shane lets down her wall of straightness. Xavier yelling can even be heard from the outside followed by a loud bang, a gun shot. Their lips part as they both look out in front of them.
Shane Sanders
The
fuck was that?!
