In 1989, limited editions of a Dead Or Alive comic book were issued along with the Japanese NUDE. I almost died in gratitude when the RIGHT STUFF posted the comic in its entirety. On the left, you can see a picture of Pete and Steve duking it out with Steve literally coming up on top.
The comic was well drawn and offers some interesting insight to Steve's past. He started out with Dead Or Alive as a roadie and in true Horatio Alger style, progressed from drummer to producer to manager. Way to go, Steve!!
