I planted several plants randomly in an ice cube maker, in the following sequence

Setup
1 3 5 7 9 11
2 4 6 8 10 12

There may have been more than one seed to each cell, but there was at least one seed in each. The plants that grow in each cell are identified first by the cell number.

Day One Observations

Plants were placed into the soil, and watered.

Day Two Observations

No change, no water.

Day Three Observtions

Plants were watered, and germination is appearant. The seeds are breaking from the seed coats and roots are popping out.

Day Four Observtions

There is noticable growth in cells 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12. The roots and root hairs are visible.

Day Five Observtions

Not watered. In cell 4 there are two plants; one of which is 2 centimeters and the other is 1 centimeter. In cell 6 on plant is seen, growing 1.5 centimeters. One plant is visible within cell 7, to the height of 1 centimeter. Also in cell 12, there is one plant that has grown 2 centimeters. The first cotyledons are visible on these plants. Growth can be observed from cells 8 and 9.

Day Six Observtions

Plants were watered. In cell 4, there are two plants, one is 3 centimeters, and the other is 1.5 centimeters. Cell 6 contains one 2.25 centimeter plant. There is on 2 centimeter plant and one 1 centimeter plant in cell 7. Cell 8 contains 2 plants, both a height of 1 centimeter. One plant of 1 centimeter exists in cell 9. There is also one growing in cell 12 of 2.25 centimeters.

Day Seven Observations

No water administered, but there is a long list of growth. Cell 4 now has three plants, one of 3.5 centimeters, one of 2.5 centimeters, and one of .5 centimeters. Cell 5 has two plants, one is a half a centimeter, and the other just one-eighth. Cell 6 has one plant of 3 centimeters growth. Cell 7 contains 3 plants, one is 2.5 centimeters, one is 1.5 centimeters, and the last is 1.5 centimeters. There are 2 growing in cell 8, one is 2 centimeters, and the other is 1.75 centimeters. Cell 9 has one of 2 centimeters, and cell 12 has a plant of 3.5 centimeters.
