LAKE LOTAWANA
The lake is located 40 minutes east of the greater Kansas City area, just south of I-70, east of I-470 ( Missouri 291) and Missouri highway 7. The lake is just east of Highway 7.
The city of Lake Lotawana is located in eastern Jackson County Missouri. It is a private lake. Colbern Road provides access to the north and east side of the lake.
Missouri Highway 7 heads south and provides access to the west of the lake and via Langsford Road access to the Missouri yacht Club.
The main body of Lake Lotawana lies on a north/south axis, with the dam at the northeast end. Most of the Missouri Yacht Club races are run either in the main body or from the dam to the west .
