| ABOUT US Oswego KC Ladies Auxiliary was formed to help people in need. We are a non-for-profit, charitable organization. Also, we participate in many Oswego KC Council 7247's activities. MEETINGS Our meetings are held at KC Hall on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. June meeting is held on the 3rd Thursday of the month and we will install new officers for the coming year. Installation consists of Mass, installation ceremony and dinner. There will be NO meetings in July and August. MEMBERSHIP The KC Ladies Aux. is open to any Christian Lady 18 Years of age or older. To obtain membership informaton, please send Membership Info Request Form to KC 7247's P.O. Box & Attn: Ladies Aux. or contact any Ladies Aux. member. Someone will contact you with further details. PROGRAMS Some of the workshops we have sponsored were: Quilting, Genealogy, Police and Fire Safty, Breast Cancer Awareness, Birthright, Fashion, Paramedics, various Crafts, Stress Management, Native Indian Dances Exhibition, Walking For Health and Weight Management, etc. DONATIONS These are some of the organizations we have donated to in the past, to name a few: Giving Tree of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Birthright, Unwed Mother's Home, Life Center in Elgin, Bishop Kaffer's Home, Battered Women & Kid's Shelter in Aurora, baby showers for single moms, Holidays' ( Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving) Baskets for the needy, members in need of support, and various KC Council 7247's benefits. FUND-RAISERS We organized and participated in many different fund-raisers: Card Parties, Salad Luncheons, Fashion Shows, 50/50 Raffles, Booths at the Oswegoland Prairie Fest, Pampered Chef, Discount Coupon Books, Bake Sale at the Fish Fry, and Oswego KC 7247's benefit dinners. AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST... The ladies at Oswego Ladies Aux. have been using Prayer Chain to pray for those who are encountering great distress in life, in poor health conditions, or in need of spiritual support.
