I would like to thank all of our Brother Knights for helping with the Annual Family Picnic. We had a great time and a great turn out.
Summer is coming to an end and our council activities are about to begin. we will start off by having our first breakfast on Sunday, September 30 to benefit Ryan Work Study.
The Right to Life Memorial at Our Lady of Grace Church is complete. I would like to thank Father Gene for attending the meeting and discussing the idea of this memorial. Our council appreciated the opportunity to team up with the Eagle Scouts in building this project. (Thanks Father Gene!) We enjoyed working with jared Foley and the rest of the Eagle Scouts. We wish Jared good luck becoming an Eagle Scout.
At our next council meeting we will be voting on the raising of our dues form $24 to $30. The reason for the incline is to help offset the cost of Supreme Per Capita tax and State Per Capita tax. These taxes have increased. If you would like to discuss this issue, please attendour September meeting.
The Knight of the Month is Mike Welder. Mike has been a big help with planning our Council breakfasts and dinners for this year. The Family of the Month is Chris and Stacey Ell as they continue to help and support the Knight of Columbus.
Our Council is looking for a new Financial Secretary. If anyone is Interested, please come to our September meeting.
