| Echostation is a software-based repeater controller program from K1RFD . My set up needs more seperation between the antennas, or duplexer(s) as the receiver experiences de-sensing when used as a same band repeater. The duplexer factor kinda defeats the purpose of an inexpensive repeater. However, in cross band mode it does just fine. I plan to try it out with a remote receive site and a 440 link. It also serves as an announcement machine, simplex repeater and autopatch. These pics show my simple homebrew interface and transmiter. Really! So if you have a spare transceiver laying around and you want to try something new, give this a try. |
