Since I am not teaching yet, I do not currently belong to a professional organization and have not been to a professional conference. I do not know if the school district I live in supports teacher travel or conference registration for such events; however, I hope to go to at least one conference or major professional development workshop each year whether the school underwrites the cost or not.
