R'yado and Siyoth

Description: 5'9" 155lbs, dark heavy brows over very dark brown, deep-set eyes. Brown hair, kept short around the back and sides but longish on top. He has a very angular face, with a strong jaw and chin and high cheekbones. His skin tone is neither fair nor dark, but a medium-tan skin tone. R'yado is shorter than most maleriders and lean in body. Because he is rarely amused or outwardly happy, he has a serious or sly look about him.

Personality and history: R'yado is an intelligent man, and for a long time, because of this he did well in the Weyr. Like many, he followed the leaders, believing that everything they said was completely correct, and criticised anyone caught stepping out of line. Indeed, if he saw anyone stepping out of line he would hand them in himself and watch in satisfaction as they got into trouble for it. Never getting into trouble himself, he believed himself infallible, believed that he could never lose an argument, that he would always be alright.. All that ended the moment he got into trouble himself. It was a relatively minor incident - a case of accidentally disagreeing with T'res - but he got told off by it, by P'sitor, in front of the whole Wing. After which most of the Wing - a lot of whom had been got into trouble by R'yado at one point or another - took it in turns to tell R'yado just what a bad person he was. R'yado does not forgive, nor forget easily, and that small incident is something he has not forgiven his Wingleaders for. Since then he's been sniping quietly away, adding his voice every time dissension is heard, making himself a thorn in the Wingleaders sides. Unlike P're and A'day he is not fighting to change things, or to improve them, but just in order t try and show his Wingleaders up the way they showed him up... Except he is not so careful, and does it more openly. He hasn't been in major trouble yet, but it is only a matter of time.

Description: Siyoth is a placid creature, and his riders volatile nature can occasionally be confusing to him. After a bewildering Weyrlinghood, he adjusted slowly, and now acts more with barely hidden amusement than anger at the way his rider's loyalties can change. He DOES try to keep it hidden though. After his rider sulked for several hours after being asked who they were meant to be friends with TODAY, he is a little more careful.
