Name: Mianall Age: 18 Sex and Preferance: Male, hetero Appearance: All joints. Like a puppet, poor Mianall seems to have knees and elbows everywhere. Awfully clumsy, and horribly selfconcious about it. However, his shoulders and arms have begun to fill out a bit with all the chores from training. He is about 6'1" and still a lean 155 pounds. He also appears to have been hit by Teenage Spot Syndrome - he used to be COVERED in 'em, but as he's growing up they begun to show up less frequently. His clothes and shortcut dark hair he keeps neat as if trying to make up for that. He also has dark brown eyes that can make a pretty convincing canine-pup look. Personality: A romantic, Mianall hasn't yet learned that bad things don't always just happen to bad people (boy, is he in for a shock) He also tends to fall in love quickly and obsessively, will trail the object of his affections with pleading eyes, and wake him or her at dawn each morning with bad love songs, sung in a voice that is breaking with adolescence and changes on every other note. Terrible poetry with be read to you, or left on your pillow. He will state his adoration in public for all to hear. Turning him down creates heartbreak, and then disbelief and he DOESN'T GO AWAY. He can be one Scary Obsessive Guy without even REALISING it because he doesn't hear the word "no" easily. The words "I've got a boyfriend" don't work well either. However, since his Impression and relationship with Suula, a support staff worker, Mianall has become a wonderful friend and good listener. He still does pour out his love and affection for the two in his life but it is now done in a more sensible and thoughtful way. Only on occasion does he spout off horrible poetry in public. History: Brought up in a Hold the fact that he was Searched came as quite a relief as he was terrorizing the Holders oldest daughter. The fact that she was betrothed didn't appear to put him off and he was causing an awkward situation all round. Sent to Arolos he moped for a few weeks and started looking for someone else to fall in love with. After a very intense goldflight right over the Weyr, Mianall 'met up with' a support staff girl named Suula, and fell head-over-heals for her. Miraculously, she fell for him and they are now very close. Soon Mianall, now M'nall, stood at a hatching an Impressed little blue Pencyth and graduated from the EveningGlories Weyrling class to Firedance Wing. Both relationships have mellowed him out a bit and he is devoted to both dragon and girl. Dragon Name: Pencyth Colour: Blue Age: 3 Wing: Firedance Appearance: Penscyth is a smallish blue. After being a kind of mottled blue throughout his first two turns, his colouring has finally settled on a deep sky blue fading into a paler blue along his belly. His features and head are small and almost dainty. The young blue is lean but now strong after all his flight training. Personality: Pencyth cares deeply for his one but also for the girl that has always also been attached to his rider, Suula. He is a thoughtful dragon, always adding some cool comment to calm his rider. Or he just simply likes listening in on the very 'greenish' (as he calls it) way his rider and Suula speak to one another. He has yet to begin any flirting of his own but he likes spending time with almost any dragon who will lounge in the sun with him. Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: Penscyth is a very quick and agile flyer but his rider must keep firm control of his in the air as he may tend to overshoot his target. |
