Back In Space 2000

Welcome to Back in Space 2000's Home page. Back in Space 2000 is a Michigan based space enthusiast group. This site was promted by the recent news that The Euroupeon Space Agency's robotic probe has made it's final approach to mars. This news comes just days after the capture of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Huissian. The war on terror was bound to have it's cost. However to prevent man from returning to the heavens may be to high a price. Decades worth of research and work sit idle while America wages it's war. BIS2000 feels that it is time for The U.S.A. to get back out there and explore. The future is upon us and we must be ready to take that next step. Our generation is ready for man to take it's first step on another planet (Mars), just as John F. Kennedy's generation was ready to see man take it's first step on the Moon.

Well NASA does it again. Just days after BIS2000 came on-line NASA succesfully lands a rover (Spirit) on the Martian surface. Already planned is the landing of another rover near the Mars polar reagion. Congrats NASA.
