| Lilacs from out back of my Grandmother's in Andover, VA. I never should have put them in a raised bed of concrete blocks. My Mother only has one, but she planted her's the same time as I did mine and her's is half the width of her house! I bet the blocks are stunting their growth. "Hey, babe, We need to move about 40 feet of 7 foot tall lilac bushes. What's that about a bad back? That don't work on me, buddy!" |

| My poppies were glorious this year. I even had a couple that were a light apricot edged with red! I took this picture just ahead of a bad thunderstorm. Good thing, the next morning there wasn't a petal to be found anywhere. |
