Physical Science Article Review

The purpose of this assignment is to help you enlighten yourself to the exciting world of science around you. Ideally, you will choose a science article that is related to your vocation. The article you choose doesn't have to relate to your job interests, but it does have to relate to something we've covered in class (or that were going to cover).

When choosing your article follow the guidelines below:

1) The article you choose must be from a credible science source

2) The article must be at least 2 pages long

3) The article must not be outdated-like within the last two years

When writing your article follow the guidelines below:

1) Your review must have:

a) a summery including the portion of the article that contains the science related to our class

b) why you chose the article

c) your opinion about the article

2) Your review must be longer than one page, but less than two pages

3) You must include what publication the article came from, what the date was, how many pages it was, and the title (you may want to photocopy it).

The total possible points for this assignment is 15. Points will be taken off for serious readability problems (like messy writing, terrible spelling, and lack of punctuation). In addition, make sure you follow the guidelines above.

I suggest you use Scientific American, or Popular Science from the library. However, you can use any credible source you want (even the internet-if it's credible).
