My Preferred Activities 1) President, FIU Badminton Club at Florida International University. 2) Acknowledged by "International Library of Poems" for publication of poems in coffee table bound edition of working title 'The Silence Within'. And been selected one among 33 poets in the world for audition of two poems in 'The Sound of Poetry'. 3) Secured 1st Place in Intramurals for Men Singles and Mixed Doubles in Badminton during the year 2001-2002 at University of Kentucky, Lexington. 4) Secured 'Gold Medal' in team event of Badminton, during Inter-IIT championship (A National Level Inter IIT tournament). 5) Led the College Badminton Team to secure 'Silver Medal' in TIES '99 (Tamilnadu Inter Engineering Sports Meet). 6) Secured 'Gold Medal' in Badminton, PSG CAS Trophy (An Inter-Collegiate State Level Tournament) in doubles. 7) Publicity Coordinator of Cosmopolitan Club at University of Kentucky, Lexington. 8) Student Coordinator of 'Karate-Club' in BE during 1998-99. 9) Awarded as 'Best Volunteer' for services rendered in National Service Scheme for 10 days camp at Vellimalaipattinam. 10) Awarded Special Service Certificate for participation in National Service Scheme during 'Youth Camp for Sustainable Development'. 11) Practise 'Sahaj-Marg' Meditation on the path of Sri Ramachandra mission. |
