My Favorite Poems
LOVING YOU

As the miniature picture lies in pieces on the floor.
It reminds me of our love painful memories once more.
To think that only yesterday you held me in your arms.
Told me how much you loved me with those tender loving charms.
But that was only yesterday and I had to let you go.
I found out I loved you to late for anyone to know.
Loving seemed so easy then with only me and you.
I wish I had'nt been the fool I was to you.
Loving seemed so easy then with only you and me.
It breaks my heart to think our love was never meant to be.
Some day I hope that maybe we will find our love once more.
But I doubt that it could be as beautiful as before.
So please bare with me as I find the courage to say.
I'll love you now and always, forever and a day.
So wherever you may wander, whatever you say and do.
Please keep in mind that I wrote this poem to show my love for you
NEVER THE SAME

I cry and hold your picture
And softly speak your name
I stand beside my window
And watch for you in vain
I hope with all my heart
One day you will return
To try and light the candle
That used to brightly burn
My friends say to forget you
Give up my foolish dream
But i just keep on hoping
For that which might of been
Perhaps if I had realized
The way we was heading
I would not be sitting here
Bitter and regretting
And when I think about it
Perhaps I was to blame
So I'll put away your picture
And start my life again.
REGRET
For the last time now,we've called it quites
So sad that last goodbye
The love we've shared these past years
Seem destined now to die
My anger grows as days wear on
And public tears are rare
But still each day with dawns first light
The pains already there
It's hard to face the fact you've gone
I thought you'd never leave
But that was just a foolish dream
I made myself believe
Please tell me, was it a game
To break my virgin heart
Well,if it was,then yes,you won
You tore my world apart
Perhaps I'll love again one day
If time lets me forget
But its sad that my first taste of love
Is something I'll REGRET.
