For me identity is who I think, or believe myself to be. When I tell people about myself I am telling them about the person I believe myself to be. Not everyone out there is like. There is a saying that everyone is normal until you get to know them. You can get to know the real person, or the person that is portrayed to you when you are interacting with someone and you see them or hear there voice. You are able to pick up on those non-verbals, or voice inflections. When you enter into an online community you don't know if what you are seeing on the screen is true or false. You only see what the person lets you know about. |
