| The Lecture Game | |||||
| The lecture game is a game for three or more players. One player takes the role as the score keeper and is in charge of monitoring the activities of the other participants. Players try to rack up scores by performing certain tasks during a lecture. After a predefined number of lectures, the score is tallied up and the player with the most points wins. Scoring for the game is as follows: Asking a question that the lecturer answers. 1 point Asking the lecturer their name. 2 points Asking a question the lecturer cannot give an answer to. 4 points Asking a question totally unrelated to the lecture. 3 points Leave the room and return again. 2 points Have a coughing fit. 1 point Pretend to have hiccups. 3 points Lean back on a chair and falling over. 4 points Throwing a paper airplane at someone (the lecturer must not see you to get points). 2 points Throwing a rolled up piece of paper at someone else (the lecturer must not see you to get points). 1 point Slurp your drink loudly. 2 points Eating a packet of crisps. 1 point Humming a tune. 2 points Beating a tune in your desk leg. 2 points Blowing your nose. 1 point Opening a window. 2 point Getting the lecturer to turn on/off the lights. 4 point Contradicting the lecturer. 2 points Snoring. 3 points The lecturer throws something at you while you're snoring. - 4 points Mentioning "Advanced Soil Mechanics" (must be in a loud voice to get points) 1 point Getting the lecturer to mention advanced soil mechanics. 4 points Getting thrown out of the lecture. - 10 points Getting told off by the lecturer. - 5 points Showing these rules to the lecturer. 7 points Making the lecturer laugh. 2 point The lecturer makes people laugh at you. - 3 point Blatantly yawning. 2 point Asking for an OHP to be turned on (when it already is). 2 points Standing on the desk and doing a hula dance. 10 points Standing up and sitting down again. 3 point Being involved in a mexican wave (must include at least three people). 5 points Telling the lecturer their flies are undone. 6 points Getting into an arguement to the person next to you. 3 points Wear sunglasses the WHOLE time. 4 points Wearing a ski mask for the entire lecture. 6 points Turn up to the lecture in a dress or skirt (MEN only). 10 points Turn up to the lecture in a swimming costume. 8 points Walking behind the lecturer who is giving the lecture. 2 points Walking in front of the lecturer who is giving the lecture. 3 points Burping loudly. 4 points Making a watch alarm go off. 2 points Passing the lecturer a note. 2 points The early bird catches the worm, or in the lecture game, some bonus points. The following rules are for those who like to plan is advance. Rearranging all the chairs in a room to face the wrong direction. 5 points Sabatoge the OHD before the lecture so it would stop working. 2 points Replace the board markers with permanent ones (the lecturer must use the markers). 5 points Handcuff yourself to the lecturer's desk or podium and say you don't have the key to unlock it. 10 points Hide under the lecturer's desk or podium for the entire duartion of the lecture. 10 points Leaving an apple for the lecturer. 1 point The lecturer takes a bite out of the apple. 3 points Optional Rules: At the start of each lecture, every player is randomly given three tasks to do. The players who manage to complete the tasks are awarded an extra 10 points. |
