I am an Extra Class Operator and enjoy organizing Military Special Events. I live in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and am the Tech Committee Chairman of the Allen County Amateur Radio Technical Society. I served four years in the USAF, and two years in the Indiana Air National Guard. I enjoy APRS and digital modes. I also enjoy Echolink and IRLP.

May is National Military Apprection Month. Amateur Military Appreciation Day organized in Ft.Wayne, Indiana along with Amateur Radio Clubs and operators worldwide. Thanks to all the Amateur Radio Clubs, and operators who made contacts during this event, allowing people from communities worldwide to express thanks to those that serve. We are able to send the message that we support our Men and Women that give so much of themselves so that we can remain free. Thanks to all of our community leaders that attended, and for the Proclamations endorsing Amateur Radio. Thanks to the Military Ham operators, and Amateur Radio Clubs that gave of their time to help make this event a success. Thanks to the Ft. Wayne Wizards for allowing us to operate from THE MEMORIAL STADIUM. Over 6500 fans greeted the Military.
