| Most window problems are equipment exceeds operator capabilities(eeoc). That means the user does not know how to operate the program. There is a quick way to determine if this is the case. Ask the question " have I ever done this before " If the answer is yes then it is not an eeoc error. That is not to say all problems are the fault of the user. Just keep in mind that knowing how is usually half the battle. |
| Windows actually contains a built in help system. Just go to start/help. You might be surprised at what you find! There are also diagnostic programs inside windows. This is a good place to look around for help start/programs/accessories/system tools/system information/tools/. This last one is for a windows 98 and later. There are also some really good utilities on the market that do the same thing. Its a good idea to use them to keep your computer in good condition. |
