Hello and welcome to my web page.
My name is Keith and I am an amateur radio operator. My �ham� call is KB3FCK. I hold a technician class license. I mainly operate on  147.090- or 145.490- with a PL tone of 167.9 on either frequency. I use an Icom 207 H dual band transceiver with a Comet GP-3 dual band antenna, and an Icom T2A handheld.  I am also a short-wave radio and scanner listener, my registration for this is KPA3HF.  In my radio room   I have two Realistic DX-160�s that I use for short wave listening. For scanning, I have the Uniden Bearcat 895 XLT, 300 channel scanner and the Uniden Bearcat 898 T, 500  channel scanner. I also have a Midland 74-200 all hazards weather alert radio. In the kitchen is a Plectron fire receiver, and in the bedroom,  a Uniden Bearcat 600 XLT 100 channel scanner.These scanners all run 24/7.  I also have a handheld scanner that I use too, it�s a Bearcat SP-150, 100 channel. I am a retired LPN and EMT. I worked for  Susquehanna Health Systems. When I �retired� in 2003 I had 13 years in the Emergency Room. ,and  also worked on the hospitals MICU ambulance and  served as a deputy coroner for 12 years. I am a Life member of the DuBoistown Fire Department Station 8 where I have been a member since 1967, and  a member of  First Ward Fire Company, Station 11.  I had also been a member of  the Old Lycoming Twp Fire Co where I was a EMS Lieutenant, and  Fire Inspector and a  member of the Hepburn Twp Fire Co. I have been a member of the Lycoming County Emergency Management Agency for the past 35 years. I am a Pa. Emergency Management Agency Certified Radiological Officer, and a member of the Lycoming County EMA Radiological Response team. I am  a Damage assessment Team member and a member of the Disaster Communication Service and  the Lycoming County Emergency Planning Committee ,and a National Weather Service Sky warn weather spotter. I was a member of  the  White Deer Search & Rescue team, where I was the Communications officer , and a K-9 Handler and trainer. I was a member of the National Search & Rescue Association (NASAR) where I was a SAR-TECH III, and a member of Search & Rescue Dogs of the United States (SARDUS). Training that I have received includes, Rope Rescue, Water Rescue Boat Safety, Search Manager,  Search and Rescue Medical Responder   Introduction to Search and Rescue ,  Fundamentals of Search and Rescue ,  Managing the Lost Person Incident.   Training that I have  rceived at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg ,Maryland and at the Pa.State Fire Academy at Lewistown includes, Fire Prevention,  Arson and Fire Investigation, Community Safety Educators ,   Fire Service Supervision and   EMS Operations at Multiple Casualty Incidents. Training I have received at the National Emergency Management Training Institute,in Emmitsburg,MD. And  at the Pa Emergency Management Office in Harrisburg  includes, Radiological Officer, Radiological Response Team, Damage assessment, I have received my �Certification � and Advanced Certification for EMA Coordinators as well as completed all 51 FEMA IS-Study courses
