KENDAPPAH-OH:
Swish, Swish...
Kendappah-oh walked down the steely corridor that lead to the briefing room.
*I can hardly wait! The last people to try and join were..unworthy...*
The hallway reached a big, tall adn decorated door,which would open up to where the new recruits would be waiting for her instructions.
"Here goes nothing..."
Kendappah-oh pushed, then swung open the doors!
The briefing room was a dome-shaped roommade of extremely strong glass. Above, fish of bright colors swam and swarmed around, bringing vcolor to the room below.
Kendappah-oh saw,dressed sharply, two young boys with black hair, a tall girl with long dark hair, a girl with blonde curled hair, and a little girl with short brown hair.
"Welcome to Puzzle Project! I am Kendappah-oh, the leader of this organization! Together, we will search for the pieces to the treasure puzzle, and hopefully ahve fun along the way! Any questions, before I do roll call?"
FUU HOUOUJI:
One of the few people who were gathered in the room promptly raised her hand. The gaze from her green eyes was intense, even though it was shrouded slightly by her large spectacles. The gaze suggested a sharp wit, deep thought, and courageous ambition. Her hair was a canary yellowish colour, curled in at the edges, and was fluffy.
KENDAPPAH-OH:
She noticed one of the girls there was raising her hand
It was the blonde one, wearing glasses
"Oh? yes? what is your question, eto..."
*That's right! I haven't done role-call yet! oh bother...*
"..eh, glasses-chan, what would your question be?"
FUU HOUOUJI:
Fuu-chan smiled idly as Kendappah-oh seemed not to know her name.
"My name is Fuu Hououji. At any rate, my question is..."
As she said this, she managed to grow a tense aura around her, and she felt like other people leaned in with anticipation to know what it was that she needed to ask.
"What is this? I thought I was applying for a job at Haggen-daz?"
KENDAPPAH-OH:
Kendappah kina stared at Fuu-chan.
"Ha..Hagen Daaz?"
Then Kendappah started to laugh. "Bahahahahahahaha!! Haagen Daaz!! Oh dear, my little friend! You are not at Haagen Daaz, I'll assure you of that!"
Regaining her composure, Kendappah cleared her throat.
"Ahem..*geez, start with the tough questions*...Anyways, for your question: this is an organization that was made for the salvage of the pieces to the Puzzle that structures our lives. Many thousands of years ago, our people lived upon surface,with air, fire, earth and water around us. we were in harmony. However,because many humans were evil, and wanted to further themselves, to become more powerful, they made things to grant them that power. However, their power was overwhelming the balabce that was so precious to Earth! IN an Attempt to save themselves from their deeds, they put together many of the devices that they sued to grant themselves poewr into pieces..These pieces then were joined together to form a mass structure that woudl enable people to have power and live peacefully. So the world flourished, and people were discovering more about their perrsonal potential."
Kendappah looked up at the ceiling where the brithtly colore dfish were swimming around and sighed.
"However...many of them were not satisfied, and used tehir powers for evil measures. Because they were not mindful, they believe that their structure would do everything for them. They failed to realize how delicate a struture thy were depending on...and then...it burst into thousands of pieces. when that happened, thousands of people were affected by the shockwave that its breaking sent out to the world. some people, as land broke apart, fell down, to the bottom of the sea. Those were our ancestors!"
"our basic purpose is to find all the pieces of the "eternal puzzle", so dubbed by its creators, and to put them all back together again, so that harmony my be restored to The world."
I hope that's good enough for them...
"Already, many of the pieces have been found. Your job, as officers, will be to find the others and bring them back here. any other questions?"
FUU HOUOUJI:
Fuu-chan looked pleased with Kendappah-oh's explanation.
"OH! so we're doing a giant jigsaw puzzle! I love jigsaw puzzles..." she said, as she clapped her hands together with an expression of pleased-ness.
ARASHI:
Arashi, ever the skeptic asked, "And how exactly do we go about this..., collecting the pieces that is?" Souma who was sitting next to Arashi, wondered whether or not this would involve battles, which she hated, or simple negotiations..
KENDAPPAH-OH:
Kendappah--
"Oh? The collection fo the pieces, you ask, miss...eh.."
Kendappah noticed the girl with the long black hair, that she also did not know the name of, beause she had failed to call roll..
"Longblackhair-san, the collection of these pieces depends on the extent of our abilities. WE have recruited someone in Expertise of computers, searching and ancient codes, to aid us in discovereing exactly where these pieces lie. Some may be above us, others below. some of the pieces will be minor archeologicl digs, others, just a matter of going through other objects that lookssimilar and determinnig which is which. However..other pieces will require bravery, trickery, and the ability to excape from hostile places. Now, our resident computer expert will explain the finding of the pieces...er..."
Kendappah realized that oen of the recruits was one of thses people..and she hadn't done role call....
"Um, but before that! I'd like to do ROLL CALL! for I'm getting rather confused... just raise your hand when I call your name."
"Souma"
"Arashi"
"Sumeragi subaru"
"Kamui"
"Hououji Fuu"
"Suzuhara Misaki"
Kendappah wondered why not all of them had their surnames written down...
*I'm going to have to get the recruit man for this...*
MISAKI SUZUHARA:
"Eeks! that's me!"
The girl with short brown hair raised her hand up enthusiastically.
"Should I explain to them about finding the pieces, Kendappah-chama?"
Kendappah-oh nodded her head.
Misaki stepped out a way infront of them, then turned around. She had on her arm, her angel doll, Hikaru.
"Alright..Each Piece of the puzzle emits a common energy wavelength, partially in the way that Dogs are said to emit Alpha waves. However, these waves are magical energy, adn are therefore coded. Our computer picks up strange readings, and graphs the energy levels. WE then print out the codes and decript them, to see if it matches up with what we're looking for. All other types of Magical objects also emit theese wavelenghts, but they are cruder, and not so developed, codes. The decritption process is to determine the object's true origins,as well as something else...it is belived that the decritptions are part of one large spell, one that instructs on how to put the pieces together."
"Unfortunately, the computer is a bit limited, and can only detect the areas where the pieces are. You will have to depend on your own methods to determine what is the genuine puzzle piece. I'lltry to develop a portable device to help youi, but for ow, you will have to sense the particular magical aura that the piece emits."
Misaki beamed.
FUU HOUOUJI:
Fuu listened to the explanation carefully, making calculations in her head, and making sense of all that both misaki and kendappah-oh had said. She dared make another question.
"So...does that mean we don't get free ice cream?? Or does that come once we've managed to collect all the pieces first?"
KOTAROU KOBOSHI:
Kotaro awoke from his fitful slumber. He had a bad dream last night, that Kendappah, his older sister, had started briefing the new recruits for the organization without him, and that she managed to kill half of htem while he was sleeping. He awoke in cold sweat.
"PHew..." he said, realising that it was just a dream. "Besides, Kendappah said she'd wait for you this time..." ...that was when he looked at his clock. He panicked. No way would she have waited till this late to start briefing them without him. He hurriedly got dressed in his royal attire, and dashed off through the halls, the floors of which glowed with the blue illumination of sunlight through water. Finally he skidded into the briefing room, where he saw Kendappah, and ALL the new recruits. he sighed with relief. that was when he saw one with Yellow hair ask of Kendappah-oh,
"So...does that mean we don't get free ice cream?? Or does that come once we've managed to collect all the pieces first?"
He nearly died of shock.
HOKUTO-CHAN:
"NE~~" A girl who looked identical to the shy Subaru said loudly in a sing-song voice. "What about me?" She was wearing an utterly ridiculous outifit. It was a pink fluffy dress with sparkles all over it... She had opalescent wings on the back of the dress. She had pointy gold shoes on and every now and then would skip in place.
"You didn't call meeeeee~!" She started to pout. "And you called my brother!" She pointed at the afforemented brother, Sumeragi Subaru.
KENDAPPAH-OH:
Kendappah looked at the roll call list.
"My apologizes, miss...Fairy princess-san, but don't worry, i will get the people in charge of the roll-call lists..."
BAKAA BAKA, thought Kendappah, scribbling another line at the bottom of the list for the girl who looekd very mch like Subaru, Baka! those administration people...making me doall the work...
Kendappah's hands twitched at the thought of their stupid faces...
She must be talking about Subaru, they must be twins! How cute! "I'm adding you to the list right now, Sumeragi-san...that is your surname, because Subaru is the brother you were talking about, neh? May I ask of your given name, so that way, I can correct the error of the adminitratives office?"
HOKUTO AND SUBARU:
"Sumeragi-san?? NO! It's Hokuto-CHAN!" The girl pranced around and sweatdrops followed.
"H-Hokuto!" He blushed. "S-stop it!"
She stops and cocks her head while staring at Subaru.
"Ne~Where's your BOYFRIEND, Subaru-chan?" Subaru squirmed giving her the reaction she hoped for.
"Well... Maybe we should introduce ourselves to one another?"
"MEEEEE FIRRSSSSSST!" Hokuto interrupted. "I'm Sumeragi Hokuto-chan! I'm 16 and am unemployed~!" A young man with dark hair "hmmph-ed" and rolled his eyes. "SUGOI! You go next!" She poked the young man.
KAMUI: "Kamui." He said nothing else and went back into his own little world.
HOKUTO AND SUBARU:
Hokuto pushed her brother and smiled. Subaru bowed as he begun, "I- I'm Sumeragi Subaru. I'm the 13th Clan Head of the Sumeragi Estate and am one of the strongest On--"
"THE STRONGEST!" Hokuto interuppted.
"As I was saying, I'm an Onmyouji." He decided to steer clear of the strength factor completely so he wouldn't have to be embarrassed, though even he himself knew that only Seishirou could surpass him in Onmyoujitsu, if even. And in power itself, very few in this room could even come close to matching it. Subaru blushed and bowed to everyone.
KOTAROU KOBAYASHI:
Kobayashi Kotaro looked on in surprise, as Hokuto, one of the new recruits, started prancing around happily. he was glad that kendappah-oh hadn't killed anyone yet. Although, he sighed, and commented to himself, "well, I guess Kendappah-neesan is like that--unpredictable.'
MISAKICHI:
"Eeks! such cheerful people! Especially Hokuto-chan!"
Misaki walked from her standing spot in front of everyone and walked up to the beautiful twins.
"erm..Kendappah-chama? is it alright for us to associate right now?"
KENDAPPAH-OH:
"Oh? oh! it's perfectly alright, afterall,you're all going to be working together! you might as well get to knwo each other better."
Kendappah-san smiled.
and time for the administration to get better accquainted with divine punishment...
"kotarou-chan, could you hold this roll-sheet?"
Kendappah gave the horribly put-together roll sheet to her little brother, smiled sweetly, then told the group,
"I will return in 30 minutes to give you your projects. In the meantime,please acquaint yourselves with each other! I look forward to workingwith all of you!"
I'm going to KILL Danchou-san...
Kendappah retreated calmly back into the hallway she came from. she clsoed the doors behind her. Her storming down the hallway was hardly noticed by the peoplein the room.
MISAKICHI:
Miskai turned towards the twins. "Hokuto-chan, Subaru-kun, you two are really beautiful twins!"
"and you're pretty, too, Fuu-san! and Arashi-san, and Souma-san, and Kamui-san...I'mso happy to be workign with such great people!"
Miskai turned towards the other boy.
"and you're really nice, too! Kendappah-sna didn't introduce you, though..Who are you?"
Miskai cocked her head.
Her doll Hikaru,perched on Misaki's arm, cocked her head, too.
KENDAPPAH-OH:
