Kazoku Karate- Tang Soo Do ( kazoku means "family") is so called because we believe that the martial arts world is one big family. We all share the same aspirations and goals, we might each have differing reasons for training, health, self defence, confidence building etc. but we are all part of a huge experiment going back years and trancending borders, class, age, gender and political values, we are all participating in the wonderful world of Budo.

Kazoku Karate was formed in Febuary 2003 as an open friendly club promoting  Tang Soo Do, training  is very much in the way of traditional martial arts with the emphasis on disipline and respect but with a modern approach. Martial arts should provide a training system in which the individual can grow and develop. Disipline, respect, social and moral responsibility are neccessary to become a true exponant of the martial arts.

Kazoku Karate is a member of the 'Amateur Martial Associations'
