One of my favorite series of all time. Too bad Melty Blood doesn't support online play.
Plotline - I can't really tell you a lot about this anime, without ruining a lot of it. Basically this kid named Tohno Shiki gets in a freakish accident when he was little, and after the accident he can somehow see these "lines". By using a knife given to him by a mysterious red haired girl, he can cut these "lines" and destroy whatever he wants. It's been several years after the accident, and now his sister wants him to come home. The story pretty much begins after Shiki starts living in his sister's (Akiha) house. Little does he know, the Tohno family has some sort of a deep dark secret.
A short series at 13 episodes or so, Tsukihime is one of the best vampire animes ever made. It was so awesome, they made a game called "Melty Blood" off of it, and it continues off the anime series. A bit on the dark and gloomy side, the plot gets pretty deep about halfway into it. It's a bit of a mix between drama and action. If you've never seen it before, I recommend it. If you couldn't tell already, Ciel roxors everybody.
