Gao...!
Plotline - Basically it's the opposite of Kanon. While Kanon is about winter and miracles, Air is more about summer and dreams. Yukito is a strange person, who is searching for a person with wings. While doing so, he comes upon this small town, and is invited by a girl named Misuzu to stay at her house. Misuzu is not your average person, and neither is Yukito. A fated meeting, a forgotten past, the dreams of everyone will intertwine in the middle. As Yukito continues his search, the beginning of summer started right there. Even though it was as short as a star twinkle, it also lasted an eternity. I, for one, am really interested in the overall theme and art style of this anime. It draws you in, and it has that effect which keeps you addicted until the very last episode. Misuzu is also pretty funny. She has this habit of saying "Gao..", whenever she gets angry or sad. You just can't help but like her personality. Air will make you think about things while you watch it, sorta like Fruits Basket if you will. If any of you that have watched this missed it, there were Kanon cameo's in episode 2. Ayu even has her little backpack thingy. The best thing to happen since Full Metal Alchemist, Air is something you don't want to miss. It may not be another action oriented series, but not all good things come in the form of action. The graphics are rich and all the seiyuu's voices fit perfectly for every character, expecially Misuzu. This is also one of those series that will keep you addicted to the very end. There are hardly any fillers at all, and it'll all end before you even realize it's over. I started watching Air from the time it starting airing, and it was pain staking wait for the whole series to finish. Luckily for you, it's all finished now. I honestly could not find any flaws in this anime. Misuzu is probably one of the most kawaii characters you'll ever see in a while, both in personality and physically. The overall mood of the anime is a mysterious one. Even though it is during the summer, sometimes I still got the chills from some of the scenes. There are so many things about this series that make it shine, but I'll stop here because I might make it sound like one of the best anime's ever (And it is). Heck, one of the main reasons that I watched Air was because it had character's from the game EFZ, and is very similar to Kanon. I didn't expect it to be THIS freaking awesome. Summer and dreams.... I recommend you see Air if you're a big fan of Kanon, or just want a touching story. My Score - 9.4 / 10 You are listening to: Tori no Uta (Instrumental Battle Music Remix) Back to Main Page
