Apollo's Cry

"I did it because I love you.
I saved you, don't you see?
I did it to save your power.
Rescued you, brought you to safety!"

The moon weeps over
the stars she can not reach.
The sun watches his sister and her torment.
He can not see what he did wrong.

"I did it because I love you.
You did not love him, he only used you.
I knew what you did not, saw what you could not.
My un-touched sister, I love you."

The virgin goddess awakes, her love's been removed.
Orion is dead and Apollo smiles.
His sister is safe, she will remain upon Olympis now.
Forever will she be the goddess she can.
Will she embrace her future? Her power is saved...
Her confusions is cleared...
Her arrows will still fly...
She is restored to perfect life.

"I did it because I love you.
Sister, see my light. Understand my fight.
That he would rape you, virginity gone...
And you would be mortal. And die. Out if my reach."

So the goddess is saved.
Apollo's smile restored. And the one who defeated
Scorpio was honored with a grave in the stars,
His hunting dog beside him.
The spell continues, the ring of the bells continues throughout the Heavens
The sister of the Sun awakens! Her power is kept.
She's protected by her family!
Rejoice!

"See, my love!
I did it because I love you!
You know me now.
Welcome home to Olympus."
