Appearance: His hair is tied back into a ponytail that falls just short of his shoulders. Bangs too short to tie back frame the upper part of his face with stubble on his chin.

Personality: He has quite a relaxed, laid-back personality and teases quite often. His forms of teasing, though, are extremely short and mild compared to most of the Shinsengumi. However, he, like many other members, is known to put on a serious face when the instance calls for one.

Past (Manga): The manga does not really indicate anything about Nagakura's past as far as I have seen. He has, though, joined the original group at the Tennen Rishin Ryuu Kenjutsu Doujou.
