Azrael is the Angel  of Death, the

Grim Reaper. He has been said

to come in 3 forms, depending

on whether the person he is

coming to fetch is good or bad. He

has been described to me as a regal

angel with two pairs of wings and long

black hair in his most common form, wearing a long green and gold robe. Azrael has long

been an object of fascination for me, hence his

name is all over this site, and his

domain oft featured in my works.

Even the name of the site alludes

to him. ^_^

Shinigami, for those who are

unfamiliar with the term, means

‘God/Angel of Death.’ It is a

name I adopted when I first began

my longstanding fascination with

Death and/or Azrael. The name ‘Yumi,’ roughly translated, means ‘beautiful freedom,’ a name I adopted at the same time I did the name ‘Shinigami.’ It reflects my aspiration to

be free from this world and life’s many

constraints, so I can live my

life my own unique way, and

do the things I want to do. ^_^

BL stands for Boys’ Love, and is a blanket term covering yaoi,

slash, shounen-ai, and many other related terminology.

Basically, it refers to male homosexual  relationships. This very

hot subject was introduced to me by the very corrupted Neon in

the year 2000, and has been an integral part of my life and

                                                                mind ever since. ^_^

 

The name of this site, ‘Death Pact,’ was adopted to symbolize

my connection with the Angel of Death, Azrael, as explained

in the panel below… ^_^

Mon Tour Ivoire means ‘My Ivory Tower’ in French. I chose

that name for my poetry journal as a symbol of something dear

that’s kept safely away in an untarnished dreamscape, which

is what some of my poetry is like to me. ^_^

 

I chose the name ‘Altar of Passions’ for my personal

LiveJournal because blogs are places where you write about

your personal feelings. The ‘Altar’ part alludes to the

‘Shinigami’ concept as explained below. ^_^
