Kayuga Park Arabians is a small but select stud that officially started in 2002 with the purchase of my first registered Anglo Arabian, Dacelo Park Belle and then not long after with the purchase of the Stallion, Tristram El Nirvana and the Pure bred mare Henley Farm Barrani. I had owned my unregistered Pure Bred Gelding Zac (Dec 1988-2003) since 1998.
Kayuga Park at present constists of 12 horses. The property is a working Dairy in a tiny village called Kayuga, five minutes outside of Muswellbrook, NSW. I have five purebred Arabians, one Anglo Arabian, two Part Arabians , two TB mare's, a quarter horse mare and one Australian Riding Pony..
I have competed in Endurance with my Arab Gelding, Zac (Dec 2003) and previously on my Standardbred Gelding, Midnight (Who I have since sold). I am currently competing in Endurance on Dacelo Park Belle and training Leechdale Prince Shazzam (Arab x) for Endurance in 2005.
I also plan to breed my mares to produce future Endurance mounts. We aim to breed Pure Arabians, Anglo Arabians and Part bred Arabians that are athletic and sound with the traditional Arabian traits. Most of my mares are either qualified Endurance horses or have progeny competing in Endurance.
Our goal is to have our horses completing many successful Endurance kilometres.
