| We leased Marions Rose from Sandra Himsley of Mindari Stud for around twelve months. She was seven and unbroken when she came to us. She was a very pretty pure Arabian, chestnut mare, with a very quiet temperament. Her Sire was Al Borg Fadl, S4988 and her Dam was Casson Park M10282. She was a fast learner and way to smart for her own good. She would do things like swim to the middle of the dam on occasions just to avoid being caught. I had her broken in and planned on campaigning her in Endurance. But this was not to be as around three weeks after I got her back from the breaker, she got her rear left hock caught in a barb wire fence. She cut her hock down to the bone and had to be put down. Before this happened I had been riding her around and she was going nicely. Sandra Himsley and myself did try to save the little mare but it was to know avail as she had an infection in the hock joint that could not be treated and her bone broke down. It was a very sad day when this lovely mare left us. But we have her photo's and memories of her. |

| On the 24/03/04 I had to have Rupara put down. She had a bad case of colic that could not be treated. It was a very sad day. I only owned Rupara for around two months but she will still be missed. In the time I owned her she proved to be a very nice natured mare. Rupara was a pure bred mare by Mexi (imp Denmark) x Masafi Rimah. She was 50% Crabbet and 50% Polish. I currently own her 2003 filly foal, Razorback Silver Sheena by Compadre. Hopefully this little filly will carry on her mothers pedigree. |

| TRISTRAM EL NIRVANA |
| On the 16/04/04 we also lost Nirvana to Colic. Nirvana was my 27 (rising 28) year old Stallion by Al Karim Sirhalima x Bashqa. He was a lovely natured boy who loved life and his girls. I owned him for around 18 months and I am very glad for the time we had together. I have one mare in foal to him due in August. Crossing all fingers and toes that Flare has a healthy baby to him and it turns out just like Dad. He is greatly missed. |
