Tying the Knot
During the ceremony Aaryn and Jeremy tied the knot. According to tradition, the colors of the cord used held different meanings. As they made their vows to one another, cords were draped over their hands. With the tying of the knot, they were bound together with the promises they made.
White – for spiritual purity, truth, peace, serenity and devotion
Yellow – for attraction, charm, confidence, balance and harmony
Pink – for love, unity, honor, truth, romance and happiness
Light blue – for tranquility, understanding and patience
Silver – for creativity, inspiration, vision/wisdom and protection
Gold – for longevity, unity and prosperity
