Hunter Jeffrey Hill

Hunter was born at 7:17 pm CST on the evening of August 14, 2001. He weighed 6 lbs, 10 1/2 oz and was 20 1/4 inches tall. His daddy and I were at the hospital with mommy all day long waiting for him to get here.

As labor progressed, Hunter's heart rate was slowing with each contraction. For quite some time he would recover quickly and we would all move on, however, eventually the heart rate wasn't coming back up to a normal rate between pushes, so Dr Krol decided to use the vacuum to help him.

Once he got here, we found out that the umbilical cord was around his neck twice. He was born healthy and happy and everyone was thrilled to see him.

Hunter's mom and dad are Jeremy and Aaryn Hill. Paternal grandparents are Jeff and Darla Hill and his maternal grandparents are Don and Kathy Cook.
