And Jo O'Callaghan for coming into my life and making me laugh again." Acknowledgements Louise Webb, Jan Kennedy, Suzanne Westrip, Felicity Trotman, Rupert Smith, Joan, Gail and Steven Bartholomew.

"Watching the Morecambe and Wise show was required viewing in our house and it brings back a lot of happy memories sitting with my late mother and grandmother and the rest of my family in the lounge watching the show. Singing the tune "Bring Me Sunshine" was frequently heard around the house. Watching Angela Rippon dance with them was also a thrill, as she was known to be a "local girl" made good. I could claim I once dinned with Angela Rippon - we ate in the same restaurant in Burnham-On-Sea many years ago! The Morecambe and Wise shows brought much laughter into our house and were a part of our lifestyles. I have been known to watch the re-runs. The photographs in the book took me memory lane."
