Notes: This came to me while sitting in the office, staring out of the window and watching the kids next door play in the snow.
"Mommy! Watch!"
Kathryn Janeway turned to see her daughter up on a snowy hill, sitting on a sled. When Rona was absolutely certain that she had her mother's attention, she pushed with her hands and then shrieked with delight as the sled slid down the hill with increasing speed.
When she finally reached the bottom of the hill Rona ran to her mother with arms wide open, ready to be caught.
"Did you see me?"
Kathryn picked her up. "I saw you, honey. Was it fun?"
"Yea!"
Kathryn smiled and hugged the girl. It was good to be back home.
