Ah, comics. That underappreciated art. Although it's becoming more and more recognized. I've liked comics in general for as long as I can remember, though as a child it was mostly Garfield and Richie Rich, with some Elfquest starting around 8th grade. But it really got nuts my second year of college. I had been spending way to much time on Tolkien fansites, and I finally decided enough was enough, and told my roommates to smack me if they saw me on anything Tolkien-related. Unfortunately, it seems I have to be obsessed with something, so...
Enter the comics. My brother had already got me hooked on Sluggy Freelance, but a fateful link soon opened the floodgates to webcomics. Then, just before Easter, my roommate's sister leaves a couple of mangas lying around...
