#1. Don't be afraid to dream.
Dreaming is good, but be sure that your dreams are in line with God's will.
#2. Praise God!
Praise Him for the events of your life. Praise Him even when you don't feel like
it. In the long run you will be much happier for it.
#3. Pray.
The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). As you grow
older you'll understand why.
#4. Remember: You are going to die (Hebrews 9:27)
Nobody leaves this world alive unless the rapture comes, then it doesn't matter
anyway. So be ready to Praise, Pray or Die at a moment's notice.
#5. Since you're not dead, find out why you're alive.
This is just about the most fundamental question you can ask God: Why am I here
Lord? What do you want me to do?
Richard Bach wrote in his book Illusions (paraphrased):
"How do you know when your work in life is finished? If you're alive...it isn't."
#6. Don't be average
Forget peer pressure; forget the norm. Be ANYTHING but average. If you find
yourself having to make a difficult decision, and you say;
"Well, the average person would probably do this." DON'T DO IT...
It's probably the wrong choice.
Remember: The Bible says that you are a "peculiar" person (1 Peter 2:9).
#7. Love your neighbor.
And remember that your neighbor is the next person you meet.
Just ask the man who was hepled by the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:33).
