| Changes The changes ae so solid, so major, so complete My life is used to change by now The fickle changes and resolutions so common to headstrong youth I've done it all before Normal to the course life follows Chld to teenager, To adult, to Mother. In the changes over the years Somehow I lost something~Me. I'm feeling the difference now. So strong are the ideals I hold today. Like a brandnew baby, The start of a new life, Putting finally into order~the confused Jumble of childhood. Learning to sift out the parts I need, Shelving-perhaps for the future- The parts that don't fit or belong. The lessons kept, of the hard trodden Road of the past, Have become something I can count on, someone I trust, someone I can love~ ~ME. |
