Why She's So Cool

Take a look at the image to the right. As you can see, it's because she sports one of the coolest mobile suits around - that's why! She commands a legion of warriors also clad in an assortment of near equally impressive mobile suits. Aside from the mecha she wears, she also pilots a pretty cool (but pretty darn ugly, if you ask me) giant mecha (and it's not nearly as cool as a Gundam, of course!)

Some of Yuna's Girls

Shiore is so funny in the series! She's sweet, innocent, has a kawaii voice, and is very slow (which is a running joke in the series), but she has probably the strongest, most high-powered battle armor of all the girls! She's my favorite next to Yuna!	Yuri is Yuna's best friend. She's an android with superhuman strength, accompanied by a superhuman appetite as well! Her mobile-suit is the least mecha-looking because she's metal herself!	Miki is one of the Erica 7. Unfortunately, ADV skipped the Erica 7 OAV series (which came between the first OAV series and the Yuna Returns/Dawn of the Dark Sisters arc). But she's still pretty cool from what I've seen.

Rant and Raves

I didn't know ADV had so many voice-actors with incredibly high squeals!

I had the same type of reaction with Galaxy Fraulein Yuna as I did when I first saw Bubblegum Crisis: "I want one!" Yup, I was talking about the mecha.

Yuna's giant mecha is alright. It's not a Gundam or an Eva, that's for sure. Then again that's not the focus of the show. But the fact that she can be called a mecha pilot is cool enough!

It's funny how the other girls transform into their mobile suits left and right at a drop of a hat, and Yuna sometimes goes for entire episodes without ever donning her armor! It's like she's always the last to put on her mecha, even though she's the focus of the series! I guess that makes it dramatic or something.
