It's that red-haired cutie-pie Kain, and his spaceship Canal!

Tsunami was Jen's fave space battleship (though most Tenchi fans are Ryo-ohki obsessed ^_^), until she saw Canal in Lost Universe! Of course, Tsunami is still very cool, and Sasami is just so adorable. But, you know, watching Lost Universe leaves one with an overwhelming urge to create a Canal website.

Oh yeah, Megumi Hayashibara is her original voice actress! Not that Jeannie Schwartz wasn't good. Actually, she was very kawaii, but, you know, Megumi Hayashibara playing a super-kawaii, tough cookie gal - she's just the best at it! Oh, and did we mention that Megumi sings the opening and ending theme of the series as well? The opening theme is especially cool, in traditional Megumi upbeat-dance style.

"But I'm not even sleepy at all. I'm not a little operating system that needs downtime anymore!" Canal is sooo cute in this scene! But of course, Kain is right, Canal. You have to take a nap so repairs on the ship can be finished quickly.

"Have a good nap," Kain says, as he hands her the alarm clock.

"Okay, okay, but promise you'll wake me if Nightmare comes," Canal says, referring to the evil syndicate that calls themselves Nightmare. "Don't try to be a hero like last time, okay?" Aww, Canal was just worried that Kain will be in danger without his all-powerful spaceship with him!

"Canal, just be sure to wake up when I need you."

(So I mixed together sub and dub dialogue. Big deal.)
