"Now I know why Elvis fans travel to Graceland..."
              -- Me upon my first sight of Bridge Studios in Burnaby where Stargate SG-1 is filmed
Never did I expect the last stop on the bus tour last year to be the highlight of the tour itself.  I just expected the tour bus to do a drive by so everyone could take pictures like tourists.  Thankfully we not only stopped but were allowed to get out and take a few photos outside the studio fence.  This SG-1 fan was perfectly happy with that.

Just when this photo to the right was taken, Dan Shea came jumping over that big 'ol fence to come and talk to us and take a few pictures.  I took one or two then noticed two figures coming towards the fence in the viewfinder of my camera.  Imagine Trish trying not to squeal like crazy when she noticed Amanda Tapping (Sam Carter) and Don Davis (General Hammond) coming towards the fence!  Both of them graciously had come over to talk to us, and Amanda signed a few autographs for fans.

Sadly I didn't get a chance to see Chris Judge up close.  I did get to see him walk from the trailers to the stage and see Richard Dean Anderson riding his bike to the same place.

You can read more about the whole experience, including my con buddy Libya yelling 'Isn't that Amanda Tapping?' as we were getting off the bus, as soon as I get a chance to upload it.  In the meantime, enjoy the photos!
